i can't believe this girlie is one.  there is so much i love about her at this stage.

i love the new found freedom she has with walking! it really has made both of our lives easier. she has become a pro.  she loves to follow me around "helping" me, but at the same time is completely content doing her own thing. this girl is miss independent and won't even let me hold her hand anymore when she is walking.  she looks at me like, "mom i can do this by myself".
she is into everything and knows the drawers and cupboards she is supposed to stay out of.  she is quite the tease though and likes to get into them when she knows you are watching.  sometimes the word no just makes her grin from ear to ear, unless that word is coming from dad then it just breaks her heart.  her new favorite game is throwing all of the toys/wash clothes out of the bath.  no matter how many times i tell her no she cannot help her self and it gives her the sillest giggles.

she is so expressive and her vocabulary grows daily.  she now meows, roars and wolfs. she also can say thank you, hi dad, what is it, and fat cat (her stuffed animal friend).  she will often say random words out of the blue and then not say them again. one day she would hoot like an owl, but hasn't done is since.

we have officially transitioned her to milk.  it took a week+, but mostly because i was a push over.  she now will take a milk bottle without fighting it and i am oh so excited to be done with formula.
she is such a good eater and there is not much she doesn't like.  some of her favorites are mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, grapes, apples, cottage and anything sugary.  this girl has a serious sweet tooth and most of the time she can talk people into sharing their treats with her.

this little one has developed some serious attitude and we get the crusty look from her more often than not. she definitely has an opinion and is not afraid to share it. i have a love/hate relationship with this, but i know she will be able to hold her own.

this little girl loves people.  i am convinced the airport is one of her favorite places.  she was in heaven making friends with who ever would make eye contact with people.  even on the plane she hardly complained as long as she could see the people around her.
i am not worried about this one with another baby in the house.  she loves to have someone to play with.  her favorite buddies right now are my parents cats and dog. oh does she love them.  they receive more kisses and loves than they would like. she is pretty soft with them and they surprisingly like to follow her around the house.

she now has a mouth full of teeth, ten total, and is a champ of a teether. her molars broke through and i didn't even know it.  her tubes also seem to be working and she is getting less ear infections.  such a blessing!

this one hates to be restrained.  the car seat, stroller, and shopping cart are not her friends.  i am the mom letting her ride in the big part of the shopping cart to keep her from screaming as we get groceries.  she loves it and stands at the front of the cart like she is coolest kid around.  it makes our shopping trips a little longer because i have to push the cart at snail speed.  at least she is happy right?

i love watching her grow.  she is getting so big.  she loves to play all day long.  she has recently started carrying around stuffed animals and her baby doll. she chats with them and snuggles them.  she got a  little doll house for her birthday and she loves to put the toys in and out of it.
she is such a girl and loves necklaces, sunglasses, brushes and my headbands. she will put them on and wait for me to tell her she is pretty. she also has to sit with me while i put on make up and loves to have me put the brush on her face.

we love this little girl.  she brings such a fun and playful spirit into our home and is a perfect combination of sweet and sassy.  we couldn't imagine our lives without her. she is one loved little girl.
