it was quite the site.  there were a lot of police cars leading the race, a lot of bikers, and a lot of bikers sponsor's all in a row.  the kiddos really really wanted to get some water bottles that the bikers throw out when they are finished with them.  sadly none were thrown while we were watching, but after driving the path for a half hour or so we managed to collect six!  it was quite the accomplishment.
