cluff family reunion this year was in nauvoo. benson's oldest brother just moved there and is in charge of the maintenance of all the buildings. he has a major in with everything/one and planned the whole get together. it was such a pretty location for all of us to get together. 
we stayed in the nauvoo house (above). it has a really cool historical significance in the church and was emma's home after the saints left nauvoo.
the first night we got there me and benson went on a walk and then met up with everyone for the play "our story goes on"
sis was a trooper the first day considering all the car riding she did. this was the only production she slept through and then only time she would sit in her stroller. she was pretty tuckered out.
day two started out with the family 5k in our family t-shirts. me and sis walked part of it and helped supply water for the other part of it. we aren't big runners. bens ran though.

we went to carthage the same day. i love carthage. especially after going there on ht. the drive was just as pretty as i remembered it and the spirit there was just as special.
tuesday we were lucky enough to do a session in the temple. such a pretty temple and by far one of my favorites.
sis was not a fan of the stroller this trip.... so unfortunate since we walked to most everything and it was blazing hot.
seriously broken hearted every time we put her in.
we visited the pioneer cemetery. i love cemeteries and i have some ancestors buried here. this was one place i hadn't been to before. we walked around for a while reading headstones. so cool.
i bought sis a bonnet and made her wear it a couple of times. love that little mug.

sis had a few rough moments on the trip, but overall was a trooper. such a cute sad face.
we rode a carriage ride. sis slept through most of it.
the highlight of the trip was sis getting to meet all of her cousins. there were 8 babies born the same year as sis and we hadn't seen most of them yet. these three girlies are just a month a part.
sis shocked us with how good she did in the car. she hardly fussed and hung out most of the way. who knew she was so a good little road tripper.
so sadly i lost 150ish or so pictures on the trip. so there is a lot of activities not included. we went to several different plays put on by the missionaries. we went to the fair and pageant. the fair included pioneer games, dancing, and music. it was one of my more favorite activities. we heard the conversion story of a descendant of joseph smith. we had so much fun catching up with everyone who we did not see enough of. we stayed up way to late, ate more custard than we would should have, and bonded as we lived communally for a couple of days. it was so much fun! thanks grandma and grandpa cluff and casey for such a good time.
